Certifications solidify the conceptual knowledge. Spark carries a lot of concepts as well. The Learning Spark Book as well as certain YouTube Videos are a must to build conceptual knowledge. YouTube videos by Sameer Farooque and Brian Clapper are sources. These Certification exams also test programming capabilities and presents you with long and complex source code to look at to choose a correct output. This Certification is not a low hanging fruit. Basically clearing this Certification needs pretty good understanding of Spark topics backed by solid preparation.

To practice Spark concepts really well, I created flash cards on Tiny Cards. These flash cards were very useful in revising the concepts really fast, like in a rapid fire round.
